Logging in and logging out

You can log into any computer in the Information Commons using your UniID and password. You must always log out when you have finished using the computer, or when you leave a lab, regardless of your time away from the computer. Logging out secures your central file space and prevents the next person from gaining access to your web traffic quota and printing quotas.

Web traffic quota

Everyone is allocated a daily download quota of 1GB to assist you with the online research required for your studies. Many Library databases and a number of educational sites can be accessed without affecting your quota. If you exhaust your download quota and need to complete an academic assignment, visit the AskANU staff in the Chifley Library for assistance.
