DOI Project Register

In addition to maintaining all the current information services available to the ANU community, the Division of Information is engaged in numerous projects at any given time. A project is an endeavour of limited duration in which a unique product or service is created. From this page you can access descriptions of all current DOI projects.

DOI Wide Projects

DOI wide projects cover those projects that pertain to multiple programs and process within the DOI as a whole.  Examples include asset management, policy management and process improvements.

Information Infrastructure Projects

Information Infrastructure projects cover projects related to networks (Wireless, Telephony, network infrastructure), desktops (Student labs, Lecture theatres), servers, storage, audio visual equipment and database supercomputing projects.

Information Infrastructure projects are typically undertaken by:

Academic & Corporate Application Projects

Academic & Corporate Application projects cover projects related to enterprise and academic applications, teaching and learning environments and supercomputer visualisations.

University-wide Academic & Corporate Applications projects are typically under taken by:

• Enterprise Systems
• Teaching and Learning Environments

Library Projects

Library projects cover projects related to the acquisition, storage, retrieval and dissemination of information across multiple mediums including digital, physical and through training.

• Library User Services
• Scholarly Information Resource Management
• University Records
