Open Program Neighbourhood (the executable is pn.exe, the path to it depends on what was specified at installation) and click on the icon for ESP. Click on the File menu and select Properties. It shoiuld be changed to look like this:

ICA1

You will need to add in esp1.anu.edu.au to the Address List before you will be able to select the Published Application "ESP Production". Then check the Options tab:

ICA2

You will at least need to have the Encryption Level set to 128 bit, the other options are up to user preference, but some Student21 functions need a high colour depth in order to be viewed correctly.

If you use the Add ICA Connection wizard from Program Neighbourhood, then after launching:

  1. Choose Local Area Network from the list, then click Next.
  2. Enter a description then click on Server Location. Untick Use Default and change the Network Protocol to TCP/IP.
  3. Click Add, enter esp1.anu.edu.au and click OK twice.
  4. Click the Published Application radio button then select ESP Production from the list and click Next.
  5. Select View in a remote desktop window, then click Next four times, then click Finish.

If you are using Windows 2000 client (version 5.00), open Client Connection Manager (the executable is conman.exe the path to it depends on what was specified at installation) and select the ESP shortcut. Right-click and select Properties. Under the General tab change the Server Name or IP entry to be espprod.anu.edu.au then click OK.

The configuration files available from the main page can only be used on the XP client (version 5.1).
