The first part of the ANU Digital TV system has been installed in the language labs, in Information Commons areas in the Chifley, Menzies, Music and Arts Libraries and in Ursula College.

The new system provides access to over 50 TV channels from local and international sources and includes a number of highly requested international channels. The initial implementation utilises dedicated set-top boxes that connect to television screens.

In 2008, the system will be further expanded to enable access to ANU Digital TV from the computers in all Information Commons areas, providing more convenient television viewing.
