Vice Chancellor Prof. Ian Chubb and other members of the ANU senior executive have been participating in a trial of desktop video conferencing systems. Participants will be able to connect using their desktop computers to any other computer that has been equipped with video conferencing software, allowing users to send and receive video and audio content.

The aim of the pilot is to evaluate the usability of ad-hoc video calls and meetings between the participants in an executive environment. The pilot is still in the early stages, but feedback from the participants has been positive.
