Publishing to www.anu.edu.au

The ANU web server (called 'www.anu.edu.au' or Boomer) is available for staff and postgraduates to use as a publishing platform.

Getting Access to WWW

You will need to get an account on this server and get access to a project. To do this:

  1. Read about the ANU Web Server  (www.anu.edu.au or Boomer), which includes information on the conditions of use.
  2. Get an account on the ANU Web Server - contact your Local IT Support Staff (LITSS).
  3. Get access to a project, or set up a project on the Web Server.  Each new project is allocated a directory on the ANU web server. This project is owned by the project editor(s) who will nominate users who can have write access to this material. These users are known as web authors.
  4. Connect to the server so that you can publish files.
