User Guide
Commonly used keys:
Placing a call:
- Lift the handset, press speaker or press headset then;
- dial '0' followed by the telephone number for an external party; or
dial the 5 digit extension number for an internal party.
To Redial a previously dialled number:
- Press Redial to see a list of previously dialled
numbers
- Press the corresponding Line/Feature button next to the number you wish to
dial.
To place caller on hold:
- Press Hold and the caller will hear hold music
- To speak with the caller again, press the relevant Line/Feature button
To place caller on mute:
- Press Mute to silence your voice out of a
conversation (red light comes on)
- Press Mute again to continue with your
conversation (red light goes out)
Drop
- Press Drop to disconnect a call and retain the
line for further use
Answering a second call:
- If you are on a call and a second call comes in, the phone will ring and the
new call will appear on the next available Line/Feature button.
To hold an existing call and answer a second call:
- Press the Line/Feature button to answer the second call
- The original call is held automatically (dark grey) and you are connected to
the second call (light grey).
To toggle between the two calls:
- Press alternate Line/Feature buttons to hold the active call automatically
and connect you to the second call.
To disconnect one call:
- If you are on 2 calls simultaneously, and you wish to disconnect one of the
callers
- Press Drop which cuts the caller off.
- Press the alternate Line/Feature button (dark grey) to retrieve the
remaining call.
Transferring and conferencing:
To transfer a call:
- Dial the number you wish to transfer the call to:
1. If the extension is busy or unanswered
- Press Drop, then press the Line/Feature button of
the original call.
2. If the extension answers
- Announce the call then press Transfer again to
complete the transfer
Conference (Up to a total of 6 parties):
- Press Drop, then press the Line/Feature button of
the original call.
2. If the extension answers
- Speak with the person dialled then press
Conference again to add them to the conference
Additional Phone Features
- Press Page Left or Page Right
to scroll through displays.
- Press Options to access/view further menu options
e.g. adjust ring tones, screen contrast or additional phone settings.
- Press SpDial to access additional Personal Speed
Dials.
- Press Log to access previously missed, incoming
answered or outgoing calls.
Diverting Calls Using Screen Options
CFrwd - Call Forward All (Forward all calls to another
destination)
- Press CFrwd then enter the destination number.
- You will hear 3 tones and the Line/Feature button will turn light grey
indicating that call forwarding was successful.
- To cancel, press the CFrwd button again.
CFBDA - Call Forward Busy/Don't Answer
- Press CFBDA then enter the destination number.
- You will hear 3 tones and the Line/Feature button will turn light grey
indicating that call forwarding was successful.
- To cancel, press the CFBDA button again.
Additional Screen Options
SendAllCalls (Do-Not-Disturb)
- Press SendAllCalls to activate the feature
(Line/Feature button turns light grey).
- Press SendAllCalls again to cancel the feature.
Call Pickup
- To answer a call that is ringing on another extension that is a member of
the same call pickup group as yourself.
- When you see the Call Pickup Line/Feature button
turn light grey, press Call Pickup to answer the
ringing phone in your pickup group.
Dir Pickup - Directed Call Pickup
- To answer a call ringing on any other extension
- Press Dir Pickup and enter the ringing phone's
extension number
Auto Callback (Internal ANU extension numbers only)
- Press Auto Callback whilst ringing an internal extension that is not
answering.
- You will hear 3 tones and the Line/Feature button will turn light grey
indicating that Auto Callback has been set. When the party that you were
originally trying to call becomes available, you will receive a returned call
with a distinctive ring tone.
- To cancel press the Auto Callback button again
Busy Indicators
- Shows the status of another extension and dials that extension when pressed.
- An extension is busy when Busy 5XXXX is grey
- Press Busy 5XXXX to dial that extension
Programming Personal Speed Dials
- Press Abr Program and the speaker light will
automatically come on.
- Select a Line/Feature AD button to program.
- Press 1 to change the number and follow instructions on display.
- Press 1 to change the label and follow instructions on display (max 5
characters)
- Press Speaker to confirm your changes.
