Information Services@ANU > ANU Archives Location and Facilities ANU Archives Location and FacilitiesThe ANU Archives Program, incorporating the University Archives and the Noel Butlin Archives Centre, is located on the ground floor of the Menzies Building on Fellows Road. See our Contact page for a link to the campus map and other contact details. Transport from the cityThe Archives is a 20-minute walk (via London Circuit and University Avenue) from the Civic Interchange, or a short trip from the city by taxi (Canberra Cabs 132 227) or by ACTION bus No. 3 which departs from Platform 4 of the Civic Interchange at 20 and 50 minutes past the hour on weekdays:
ParkingThe ANU public parking map shows parking for the entire campus with categories for Pay & Display, Time limited and Non-ANU Parking. There are several pay parking areas near the Menzies Building:
There are several short-term parking spaces in front of the Menzies Building. Opening hoursThe Archives are open from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday to Friday. Please note that the Archives will be closed on the following days:
Lunch facilitiesThere are a number of cafes close to the Menzies building: Caterina's behind the College of Law, the Vanilla Bean in the John Curtin School of Medical Research, The Gods at the Hedley Bull Building adjoining the Coombs Building, and the Brasserie in University House on Garran Road. AccommodationFor visitors to Canberra, the most convenient accommodation is on campus or in inner city areas close to a bus route:
