Space Services
The Space Services Program attends to teaching and learning environments on
campus, providing a wide range of infrastructure services and support to the
University community. To assist in providing a high quality clean environment we
have a policy of no food or drink in these rooms. Bottled water is an exception.
Services include:
- Providing current generation audio-visual equipment
in teaching and learning spaces, and ensuring that one-to-one training in the
use of this equipment is available;
-
Facilitating the maintenance and refurbishment of
lecture theatres, computer laboratories, tutorial rooms, and Library buildings;
- Providing video conference facilities to enable
distance teaching and learning, international meetings, job interviews, etc.;
- Providing professional photographic services to meet
publication and display needs for University artwork, scientific research,
portraiture, public relations, etc.;
- Offering a conference venue hire and room booking
service;
- Making available audio-visual equipment for hire,
and maintaining an electronic workshop for the repair of
audio-visual equipment;
- Operating a Service Desk and Shopfront to respond to
needs concerning teaching and learning spaces, audio-visual equipment, video
conferencing, photography, and conference hire and room booking.
