CTL+ALT+DEL will bring up a screen that will allow the changing of passwords.

Switching Between Applications when using Full Screen Resolution

The Apple taskbar will be hidden when running the ESP client in full screen resolution mode. Use the two left-most bottom keys to reveal the Apple taskbar.

Changing the Screen Resolution and Colours on a Macintosh

  1. Run the ‘Citrix ICA Client Editor’ from the ICAMAC folder on your hard drive.
  2. Use the ‘File’ menu and ‘Open’ the file called ‘ESP’ which is on your desktop. However, if you have moved the ‘ESP’ file to another location, for example your ‘Apple Menu’ then you will have to open it from your ‘Apple Menu’ .
  3. Change the drop down menu from ‘Network Connection’ to ‘Window’ .
  4. Specify the Screen Resolution and Colour Resolution of your choice.
  5. Select ‘Save’ and then ‘Quit’.
  6. Restart the ESP connection and trial the new resolution and colour combination.

How to stop the request for access prompts

  1. Run the ‘Citrix ICA Client Editor’ from the ICAMAC folder on your hard drive.
  2. From the options menu select 'Default Settings'.
  3. Change the drop down menu from ‘Window’ to ‘Drive Mapping’.
  4. You will notice the MAC hard disk ('untitled') has a pair of glasses and a pencial against it. By clicking on these images you can disbale (a cross appears through the image), prompt (a question mark appears through the image) or enable.

(NOTE: If you decide to disable access to your MAC hard disk then you will not be able to use the download button in ESP Report Viewer.)

What to do if you get - Sorry the connection to ESP was broken

  1. Run the ‘Citrix ICA Client Editor’ from the ICAMAC folder on your hard drive.
  2. From the options menu select 'Default Settings'.
  3. Change the drop down menu from ‘Window’ to ‘Preferences’.
  4. In the 'Server Browser Address' type 'esp1.anu.edu.au'.
  5. Ensure that the boxes are checked for all three options (Enable Windows Alert Sounds, Enable ICA Client Auto Quit, Allow Automatic Client Updates).

Configuring MacOS X client for connection to ESP

  1. Run MacICA_OSX.dmg.
  2. Open the Citrix ICA Client
  3. Run the Citrix ICA Client Editor
  4. Accept the license agreement
  5. Under Connection select Server
  6. Under Connect to: enter esp1.anu.edu.au
  7. Leave protocol as TCP/IP+HTTP
  8. Under Conneciton Properties select Window Colors of Millions
  9. Save the connection details
