Make sure your client workstation is connected to the network that contains the Citrix server before using the ICA UNIX Client. Ask your system administrator if you are not sure how to connect to the network.

Software Licencing

ESP will incur the centralised hardware and software costs of implementing Citrix MetaFrame and Terminal Server, as these components will be managed centrally with the other elements of the infrastructure.  There are also licencing costs associated with client access to the ESP.  These costs will vary depending on the type of desktop in use.  As a Citrix MetaFrame/Terminal Server client, the workstation is effectively emulating Windows NT and Office 97 sessions on the users’ desktop and therefore requires appropriate licencing for these Microsoft products.

Software Installation

Dowload the relevant software from the ESP page. Local IT Support Staff (LITSS) will be able to assist.
