Adobe CLP - renewal due 31 August 2010The Contractual Licensing Program provides the ANU with flexible volume software licensing as part of Adobe Open Options 4.5, which is offered through Adobe License Centers and resellers. The agreement offers discount pricing on Adobe desktop software orders and allows ANU staff who have a license to run Adobe Software installed on their computer to run a second copy, for work-related purposes only, from either a laptop or desktop computer of the same platform, that he or she owns or leases for the duration of the agreement. As a part of the Adobe CLP agreement the ANU has an arrangement with the Edsoft for the purchasing of all Adobe products. Please note that since the acquisition of Macromedia by Adobe Systems Incorporated, the Macromedia Multi Volume Licensing Program (MVLP) has rolled into the Adobe CLP from the beginning of February 2006. Adobe Site License - renewal due 12 March 2009The ANU currently has two Adobe agreements:
Subject to the terms and conditions of the Adobe Term Site License agreement, Division of Information staff and the Information Commons are licensed to use the following Adobe Creative Suite 3 Web Standard products::
Endnote - renewal due 3 March 2009The ANU currently has a site license for the use of Endnote for all staff and students. The agreement also includes home use privlideges for all staff and students. LabviewThe ANU now has a campus wide software license for Labview. The license permits use for staff and students of the University and licensing is managed via a central volume licensing manager that is administered by the Division of Information. Disconnected licenses for staff or students who wish to use Labview on a computer not connected to the network are also available. There are fees associated with the use of this product, the Software Office can provide further details on what these fees are as well as details on the terms and conditions on the use of the license. MacCurveFitThe ANU has is a site license for a product called MacCurveFit. The site license allows allows staff to install MacCurveFit at our site which is defined as the ANU Campus at Acton. MatLabIndividual licenses are available for purchase for staff use . Details can be found at http:matlab.cecs.anu.edu.au/ Microsoft Select Agreement - renewal due 30 September 2009The Microsoft (MS) Select Agreement allows ANU customers to license MS products at discount pricing based on the volume of their license purchases. The MS product pools included in the agreement are MS applications and MS servers. MS systems can be purchased through the Microsoft Open license program. As a part of the MS Select Agreement the ANU has an arrangement with Algarburns Pty Ltd for the purchasing of all MS products. In addition to discount pricing, the MS Select Agreement allows ANU staff who have a license to run MS Office standard or MS Office Professional to run a second copy, for work-related purposes only, from either a laptop or desktop computer of the same platform that he or she owns or leases for the duration of the agreement. Nvivo Site Wide License Agreement - renewal due 1 May 2010The ANU has a new site wide license agreement for Nvivo. The site license is for a term of 36 months with annual payment starting from 1 May 2007. This agreement permits usage by both staff and students on campus. SAS - renewal due 30 January 2010The ANU has an Academic Campus license agreement with the SAS Institute of Australia. This agreement entitles staff and postgraduate students of the University to use the following products for teaching and research purposes only (administrative use is probihited):
The SAS agreement is renewed on an annual basis at which time areas who wish to participate in the agreement must pay share of the cost. Areas who wish to use SAS after the renewal data will be charged a pro rata cost. Sophos - renewal due 1 July 2010The ANU currently holds a University site license for the Sophos Anti-Virus product. This license also extends to home use for any student or staff member. More details are available at http://security.anu.edu.au. SPSS - renewal due 31 December 2009A new SPSS agreement has been signed on 29th August 2006. It is a 3 year agreement, effective from 31st October 2005, with an annual renewal date of 31st December each year. The agreement covers the use of the Base product and the following modules:
