Coverage

This list describes the areas with ANU general wireless network coverage setup by Networks and Communications. Please note there are multiple wireless networks on campus, only those with the SSID "ANU-Access" are listed and supported by Networks and Communications. For access to other wireless networks on campus you need to speak to the Local IT Support Officer (LITSS) who set it up.

Due to the nature of the radio signals used for wireless networking, you may find that some locations within a coverage area have better signal strenght than others. Sometimes by moving to a different location within the room, your signal strength, and therefore performance will be improved. Most wireless network software provides some indication of signal strength.
