Walk Up Ports (Wired Access)

There are a number of Laptop Carells in the Chifley Library level 3 Information Commons area and the Music Library level 1 that are connected through the same access control system as the wireless network.

Simply connect your laptop to the network port in the wall, using your network cable.

Your network connection should be configured to obtain an IP address and DNS server address automatically.

Once connected, it's the same as the wireless system. Open up a web browser, and go to any web page.

You will be asked to enter your Uni ID and password.

Once authenticated, you will be able to access network resources as per the access policy.
