About the Information Services Planning and Project Support Office

The Information Services, Planning and Project Support Office (ISPPSO) was established to assist with the coordination of University-wide Information Services, Planning and Project Support.  The ISPPSO will work within and promote the University's Information Infrastructure and Services (IIS) Governance and Management Framework.  As part of the Office of the Director, Information Services, the ISPPSO:

• Maintains a University register of Proposals and Projects;
• Provides support to the Director, IS with the coordination and appraisal - for completeness - of IS plans, from Colleges and Administration areas;
• Provides specialist advice to support and advance the development of IS related proposals and initiatives;
• Develops and maintains the project management framework and supporting tool suite;
• Promotes awareness of the University’s information infrastructure governance framework; and
• Assists in the training and development of staff engaged in project management roles.
