  • The ANU IT Support Model provides a framework for the provision of information technology (IT) support across the ANU.The central service provider (Division of Information, including the Library) provides support at a campus-wide level for services-in-common. Each area (Colleges and other Divisions) has "Local IT support staff" (LITSS). LITSS are usually the first point of contact for staff members who need IT support; students are most-typically supported by the Division of Information.

  • The Division of Information is responsible for providing The Australian National University with the campus-wide information services and infrastructure required to enable teaching, learning, research and administration. These include the desktop computing environment, a large-scale enterprise-class server and storage infrastructure, a highly integrated network for Internet, telephones and video, including fixed and wireless access, and the Libraries.
