Digital Lecture Delivery - DLD
Digital Lecture Delivery (DLD) enables you to download lecture recordings from your Wattle course sites. They usually appear within a few hours of the lecture. Most lecturers let you choose either:
- MP3 format which can be downloaded, saved and replayed as required; or
- Real Media File (.ram) which is a streaming file played from the server
- Podcast (only if your lecturer has enabled it) available upon subscription using any podcast program (iTunes) or RSS feed program.
There are two versions of DLD, the original is audio-only. The new version called DLD2, captures PowerPoints/videos and any material that is shown through the data projector in the lecture theatre, and synchronises it with the voice recording. Initially this service will only be available in the larger lecture theatres.
